Sourced exclusively from the 40 million-year-old high-quartz sedimentary sandstones of the Ribbon Ridge Estate.  Classic Ribbon Ridge nose with complex layers of spice--nutmeg, clove, and white pepper-- combined with aromas of violets and lavender.  Terrific core fruit on the palate; cherry, currants, plums and blueberries.  Fine-grained tannins on the finish.  This is a serious wine with quiet power.  Drink 2022-2035
