Description
The 2018 vintage draws fruit from two vineyards set in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. A single blend is created each year to showcase the nuances of the vintage as interpreted by two distinctly different sites. The wine is aged 12 months in barrel, then bottled and aged for an additional year before release. This Pinot Noir opens with the freshness of the season's first Rainier Cherries, the red fruit profile intensifying with precision and energy. On the palate, brambly fruit leads into savory wild herbs. The juicy acidity plays against the velvety palate and polished tannins. 210 cases made.
