Valdemar Estates Walla Walla Syrah 2020

A luscious Syrah with aromas of raspberry, red cherry, and rhubarb. Flavors include blackberry jam, wet stones, and cocoa powder. What makes Lefore Vineyard special is that it is one of the oldest vineyards in the Rocks District. Planted in the mid1990s, the vineyard sits on the eastern edge of the AVA and is protected from frost by being a bit higher in elevation than most of the Rocks District. It also seems to be a bit rockier on this side as well
